ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Westlee Ann — a lifelong animal lover, traveler, and believer in living fully. My journey has taken me through many chapters, each one teaching me something new about care, connection, and what it means to follow your heart.

I grew up in Wakulla County dreaming of becoming a veterinarian (and maybe driving a Porsche on weekends). Life had other plans, but my love for animals never faded. Over the years, I’ve shared my home and heart with cats, dogs, and birds — each one a beloved companion I cared for from playful youth to peaceful old age.

Before launching my pet care business, I spent seven years in human healthcare and ten years in public service — first for the State of Florida and later in New Mexico. Those years taught me discipline, compassion, and how to earn trust — qualities that now shape how I care for both pets and people.

Returning home to Wakulla rekindled something in me. What began as helping friends and family with their pets has grown into Four Paws Companion, a full-time passion built around comfort, connection, and peace of mind. I split my time between Florida and Santa Fe, offering in-home pet and house sitting that keeps pets comfortable in their familiar surroundings while their people travel with confidence.

I’ve never married or had kids, but animals have filled that space beautifully — each one teaching patience, humor, and unconditional love. Caring for them feels less like work and more like how life was always meant to be.

Whether I’m walking your dog, grooming your cat, or simply sitting quietly with a senior pet who needs gentle company, I treat every animal as if they were my own.

And who knows — maybe one day I’ll still end up with that Porsche. For now, this feels like exactly where I’m supposed to be.
